Ari Pratiwi
Head of Technical Advisory
K&A Consulting
About
Ari Pratiwi brings over 25 years of experience spanning technical presales, enterprise architecture, IT governance, and executive coaching — making her one of the most seasoned technology advisors in Indonesia's financial services landscape. As K&A's Head of Technical Advisory, she leads engagements that require deep institutional credibility alongside rigorous architectural thinking.
Ari holds a Doctoral degree in Islamic Economy and Finance from Trisakti University (Cum Laude, 2nd Best Graduate), a Master in Operations Management from Universitas Indonesia (2nd Best Graduate), and a Bachelor of Informatics from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This rare combination of technical engineering foundations and Islamic economic scholarship enables her to advise across both technology architecture and values-aligned finance.
Her most formative corporate chapter was a decade at IBM, where she led the Software Client Architect team as a Technical Manager and served as Lead FSS (Financial Services Sector) Architect for IBM ASEAN. In that role she acted as a trusted C-suite advisor, designing AI and cloud solutions for complex banking and financial services mandates across the region. She followed this with the General Manager role for IT Strategic and Architecture at Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), one of Indonesia's largest state-owned banks, where she established the bank's enterprise architecture landscape, technology governance policies, and modern IT strategic plan — driving a full IT transformation programme.
Ari is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and IBM Coach Mentor, a Lecturer at Universitas Indonesia covering Digital Business, Accounting Information Systems, and Business Analytics, and an active contributor to Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah and the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists on digital economy and fintech topics. She is a recipient of the IDC Award for Technology Modernization (2025), IBM's Best of IBM recognition (2018), and was named one of the Top 25 IBM Women Cloud Leaders in Asia Pacific.
Areas of Expertise
Technology transformation fails not because of bad technology — it fails because of governance gaps. The most powerful thing an architecture leader can do is make the invisible visible: clarify what decisions are being made, by whom, and on what basis. That is enterprise architecture at its best.
