01 — The challenge

Reaching the people who actually choose a vendor.

The client wanted to know which messages land with Indonesian security buyers, how those buyers evaluate vendors and which channels they prefer. The answers had to come from the decision-makers themselves, across company sizes and industries.

02 — Our approach

Ask the buyers directly, across sectors and sizes.

We designed and ran a B2B survey of 300 IT professionals, from CISOs and security managers to IT heads and security analysts.

  • Industries: banking, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and government
  • Company size: enterprise (45%), mid-market (35%), SME (20%)
  • Focus: messaging effectiveness, vendor evaluation and communication preferences

03 — The outcome

A response rate well above the norm.

The survey achieved a 42% response rate against an industry benchmark of 25–30%, giving the client a robust base for its marketing communication.
